I used the So Very Grateful and Hip Notes stamp sets along with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch from Stampin’ Up! to create a thank you card to share today.  My card design was inspired by The Paper Players #185 and by CAS(E) this Sketch #66 and the colors were inspired by Dynamic Duos #92.

I started by adhering a panel of Rose Red DSP from the Regals DSP Stacks to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.  I stamped the flower image from the So Very Grateful stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it on a panel of Rose Red card stock.

I painted the flower images using my Aqua Painter with Whisper White Craft Ink, then again in Midnight Muse ink using the whitewash technique.  You can see a photo tutorial that I put together for another card using the whitewash technique here.

I rounded the corner of the stamped panel with the Envelope Punch Board, then layered it over a panel of Midnight Muse card stock that I’d also rounded with the Envelope Punch Board.  I adhered the layered panel to the DSP panel with SNAIL.

I inked up the sentiment part of the image from the Hip Notes stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) with Midnight Muse ink and stamped it on a 2″ wide panel of Whisper White card stock.  I punched both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, then trimmed off the widest scallop on each side.  I ran a piece of Midnight Muse 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon (on sale through Mar 10 for 25% off) through the sentiment panel, then adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I wrapped the ribbon around the panel and adhered it with SNAIL, then adhered the decorated panel to a Midnight Muse card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the corner flower image from the So Very Grateful stamp set in Midnight Muse ink on a Whisper White panel to complete the inside of the card.
