Geometrical Hooray for Today – Stampin’ Up!

I used the Geometrical stamp set and Kaleidoscope DSP from Stampin’ Up! to create a card to share with you today.  My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #104 and the colors were inspired by Fab Friday #36.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Geometrical stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink on a Bermuda Bay panel, using my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement.  Then I sprinkled the sentiment with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I adhered the Bermuda Bay stamped panel and a strip of Kaleidoscope DSP to a Basic Black panel with SNAIL, then to a Strawberry Slush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Geometrical 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut two banners from Kaleidoscipe DSP using the Banners Framelits Dies and I cut a small rectangle panel and punched three Triangle Punches from the same DSP pack.  I layered them on top of each other and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.

Don’t forget that you can purchase the Geometrical stamp set and matching Triangle Punch in a bundle and save 15% (wood mount and clear mount).

Geometrical 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the triangle image from the Geometrical stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Bermuda Bay panel, punched it out with the matching Triangle Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I colored five Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a black Sharpie Marker and I adhered them to the card front to finish it.

Geometrical 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip of Kaleidoscope DSP to a Whisper White panel inside the card, then added a stamped Triangle Punch from Strawberry Slush card stock.

  1. Amy, So many bright colors, so many rich layers. Love this card – and that triangle balances everything out perfectly! Thanks for playing along with this FabFriday challenge. We should get together to stamp sometime – we’re too close to not. 🙂
