I used the Starburst Sayings stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a clean and simple card to share with you today.  My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #180 and the colors were inspired by CAS-ual Fridays CFC129.

I started by adhering a Smoky Slate panel from the Happenings Simply Created Card Kit to a Whisper White card stock panel with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the layered panel to a Coastal Cabana card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the three small images from the Starburst Sayings stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Smoky Slate, Basic Gray and Coastal Cabana inks on a Whisper White panel and cut them out with the matching Starburst Framelits dies.  I layered them each over a Circles Collection Framelits die cut from Silver Foil Sheets, then adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Starburst Sayings stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Whisper White panel, sprinkled it with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I colored the words in with my Stampin’ Write Markers, then cut it out with the Starburst Framelits die.  I layered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals over a Circles Collection Framelits die cut from Coastal Cabana card stock and a circle cut from Silver Foil Sheets with the Circles #2 Originals Die.

I finished the card front by adhering a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to each of the Starburst die cuts.

I stamped the Starburst Sayings image in Coastal Cabana ink on a Whisper White panel, then added a little strip of the leftover Smoky Slate panel from the card front to finish the inside of the card.
