I used the Blessed Easter and A Dozen Thoughts stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.  My card design was inspired by the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge 173.

The 2014-15 Catalog Premier event was fabulous!!  I can’t wait for you all to see the new items available from Stampin’ Up!  I’ll be ordering catalogs on May 1 and I’ll be shipping them out to my customers by Priority Mail just as soon as they arrive.  And ordering begins on June 2!!  Yippee!!  A few pictures from the event are below.  🙂

I started by adhering a panel of Etcetera DSP (retiring) to a panel of Calypso Coral card stock with SNAIL.

I stamped the flower image from the Blessed Easter stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Very Vanilla panel and I colored it with my Stampin’ Write Markers.  Then I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help me stamp the sentiment from the A Dozen Thoughts stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Calypso Coral ink on the other side of the panel.

I layered the stamped panel over a panel of Calypso Coral card stock, then adhered the card stock panel to the DSP panel with SNAIL.  I adhered a strip of Calypso Coral 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon to the panel with SNAIL, then adhered the layered panel to a Pear Pizzazz card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a piece of Gold Baker’s Twine through a Calypso Coral button (from the Subtles Designer Buttons pack) and I adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.

I adhered a strip of Etcetera DSP over a strip of Calypso Coral DSP, then adhered the layered strip to a Very Vanilla panel inside the card to complete it.

2014-15 Stampin’ Up! Catalog Premiere!!

Stampin’ Up! unveiled their new 2014-15 Annual Catalog last night to Demonstrators across the country through a live broadcast in 40 theaters.  We were lucky enough to have one of the chosen theaters here in Atlanta.
