Quick Project Life by Stampin’ Up! Card

Stampin’ Up! has recently started carrying a line of Project Life items and Heather Van Looy and I both wanted to share things we’d made items from Project Life by Stampin’ Up! with you today.

Another Thank You - Project Life - Stamp With Amy K

My card was inspired by the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 221.Screen Shot 2014-06-04 at 1.49.31 PM

I started by adhering one of the 3″ x 4″ cards from the Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection to a panel of Strawberry Slush card stock with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the layered panel to a Bermuda Bay card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Another Thank You 2 - Project Life - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip of Pear Pizzazz DSP from the Subtles DSP Stacks to the card front with SNAIL, then stamped the sentiment from the Another Thank You photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a Bermuda Bay card stock panel.  I sprinkled the sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Another Thank You - Project Life 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Another Thank You stamp set again in Bermuda Bay ink above the embossed sentiment, then continued to stamp it up the panel without reinking to create the ombre effect.  I adhered the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Petite Petals - Project Life - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the image from the Petite Petals stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Crushed Curry panel, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I punched it out with the matching Petite Petals Punch and adhered it to a branch that I’d punched from Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Owl Builder Punch then to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the image from the Petite Petals stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink across the bottom of a Whisper White panel, then I adhered it inside the card to complete it.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

  1. Wow! I am loving these super happy-happy colors! You picked a great color combo. I also like the inside with the flowers. Thanks for sharing everyday.

  2. I agree with everyone – these colors are so happy and cheerful. What a wonderful card to have someone receive! Also Amy, I am really excited to see ways to use PL. I’d like to dip my feet in this new medium to me, so I really appreciate your ideas. It looks so fun. Another product to add to my wish list 🙂
