I used the new single stamp from Stampin’ Up! called Bloom for You to create my card today. This stamp also matches the Fun Flower Punch and that sold me on it right away. 🙂
My card design was inspired by Seize the Sketch #22.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Four You stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of the Flowerpot DSP and adhering the panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with SNAIL. I adhered a smaller panel of Flowerpot DSP to a panel of Night of Navy card stock, then to the stamped panel with SNAIL.
I wrapped a strip of Night of Navy 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon around the layered panel and adhered it with SNAIL, then added a strip of Crushed Curry 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon over the Night Of Navy ribbon, using SNAIL to adhere it. I attached the stamped panel to a Lost Lagoon card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the Bloom for You image twice in Night of Navy ink on a Lost Lagoon card stock panel. I punched the two images out with the Fun Flower Punch, curled the petals slightly with my Bone Folder and adhered them together, then to the card front with SNAIL. I stamped the Bloom for You image again in Crushed Curry ink on a Crushed Curry card stock panel, punched the center out with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I stamped the image one more time in Night of Navy ink on a Lost Lagoon card stock panel and I punched the very center out with the 1/2″ Circle Punch and adhered it with SNAIL to the flower.
I cut two leaves from Garden Green card stock with the Flower Fair Framelits die and tucked them under the flower petals, adhering them with SNAIL. I added three Pearl Basic Jewels to the center of the flower and one on the “o” in the sentiment to complete the card front.
I stamped the Bloom for You image again in Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White panel to complete the inside of the card.
