I used some of the new Back to Black DSP and the A Happy Hooray stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #142.
I started by embossing a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock with the Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder. Then I punched one corner of a panel of Basic Black card stock and a panel of Back to Black DSP with the Project Life Corner Punch and I adhered them together, then to the Bermuda Bay panel with SNAIL.
I adhered a strip of Back to Black card stock to a strip of Back to Black DSP, then adhered them to the card front with SNAIL. I wrapped a piece of Bermuda Bay 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon around the panel, adhered it with SNAIL, then adhered the embossed panel to a Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the A Happy Hooray stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I punched the stamped image out with the Hexagon Punch and layered it over a Basic Black card stock hexagon that I’d cut with a die from a hexagon set made by Stamps of Life.
I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then added a Basic Black and Bermuda Bay Candy Dot next to the sentiment to complete the card front.
I tried to recreate a similar look to the feathers in the Back to Black DSP on the inside of the card by stamping the feather image from the A Happy Hooray stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Whisper White panel.
