I used the Be the Star and Work of Art stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a fun little “just for you” card to share today.
My card design was inspired by the Fab Friday 47 sketch.
I started by using the Dots & Stripes Decorative Masks and a Stamping Sponge to stencil polka dots in Rich Razzleberry ink on a Whisper White card stock panel. Then I adhered the stenciled panel to a panel cut from the Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL, then to a Rich Razzleberry card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the large star from the Be the Star stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a Rich Razzleberry card stock panel and I cut it out with the matching Stars Framelits die. I stamped the “you” sentiment from the Work of Art stamp set in VersaMark ink on the star, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. Then I ran the edges of the star across my VersaMark ink pad and I also embossed them with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
I stamped the “just for you” sentiment from the Work of Art stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a Whisper White card stock panel, punched it out with the What’s Up! punch, then stamped the small star images from the Be the Star stamp set in VersaMark ink and heat embossed them with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I adhered the arrow to the star image with SNAIL. I cut a star from Gold Glimmer Paper with the smallest Stars Framelits die and I punched the center of it out with the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. I adhered both pieces to the star image with SNAIL.
I pulled a few gold metallic strands from the Gold Baker’s Twine and taped them to the back of the star, then adhered the star die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them.
I stamped the star image from the Be the Star stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a Whisper White panel, then added a strip of Gold Foil Sheets to complete the inside of the card.

Amy I think this is such a cool card! I love the way that you combined sets to come out with a really unique card, it’s going on my gotta make list (gotta get the Be the Star first though) 🙂 What an awesome tip – to put versa mark on the edges of your star and then gold embossed them….I don’t know if I would have ever thought of that one and I am psyched to add that to my cards too. 😉
