August Paper Pumpkin Cards – Stampin’ Up!

My August Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! arrived yesterday so I dug right in and started making cards.  This kit was loaded up again with way more than enough supplies to make 4 full size cards and four little gift cards with envelopes!

August Paper Pumpkin - Stamp With Amy K

The kit contained a stamp set, a Hello Honey ink spot, 8 die cut pieces for the full size cards, 8 die cut pieces for the little cards, 4 full size card bases, 4 little card bases, 4 big envelopes, 4 little envelopes, tons of little die cut banners and circles, brads, pink sequins, linen thread, Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots.  So I’ve got lots of leftovers after making this set of cards!

I did use a couple of sentiments for the small banners from my stamp sets.  The “so much” sentiment is from the Another Thank You photopolymer stamp set and the “my friend” stamp is from the And Many More stamp set.  I also ended up pulling out my Dotty Angles stamp set to stamp the little dots…it made the stamping process go a bit faster for me.  🙂

I used the “just because” stamp from the And Many More stamp set for the little note cards too.  I thought that these would be great for co-workers, teachers or to stick in the kids lunch boxes.

They’d also work great if you added them to a little gift!

And the envelopes are really cool too!  Don’t forget about the half off your first two months of Paper Pumpkin offer that is going on through September 10.  More details below!

  1. Oh boy! I can’t wait to dig into this month’s Paper Pumpkin! These look fantastic 🙂 I so need a stash of cards and this will help tremendously, I am seriously far behind in making my “Amy’s stash” cards from your blog….lol 😉

  2. These are great. I love the fall colors. Are the dies for those die cuts available in the new catalog. I really want more word dies.
    Thanks

    • Thanks Mary! I’m glad that you liked them. Those dies are not in the upcoming catalog, but there are dies that say “Joy” and “Noel” in the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Die set! 🙂

  3. I love the cards that you make! Thank You! I just have a question. What is the name if the stamp set you used to stamp the frame for the banner framelit? Thank you!

    • Thanks so much Elena! The banners on the cards that I made today came preprinted in the August Paper Pumpkin Kit so there isn’t a stamp set that will create this exact banner. However, there are a couple of stamp sets with similar banners, one called Itty Bitty Banners and one called Sketched Birthday. You would have to color the banners with markers to stamp them as the stamps have sentiments inside them.
