Four Feathers Grateful – Stampin’ Up!

I used the Four Feather and Merry Everything bundles from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.  I wasn’t so sure about the Four Feathers stamp set when I first saw it, but I’ve been seeing awesome projects all over Pinterest using it so I decided that I had to put it on my “must have” list and I’m so glad that I did!

Four Feathers - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #152.

I started by adhering a panel of Color Me Autumn DSP to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the layered panel to a Cajun Craze card base with SNAIL.

I snipped the stitching on a piece of the 1-1/4″ Burlap Ribbon and pulled a few strands from the edges.  I adhered the Burlap Ribbon to the card front with Fast Fuse Adhesive.  Then I punched a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch on one end and the Project Life Corner Punch on the other.  I adhered the tag to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I colored the sentiment from the Merry Everything stamp set with my Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on a panel of Naturals Vanilla card stock.  I punched the sentiment out with the Note Tag Punch and adhered it to the Mossy Meadow tag with SNAIL.

I stamped the two feathers from the Four Feathers stamp set in Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks on a Naturals Vanilla card stock panel.  I cut them out with the matching Feathers Framelits Dies, adhered them together with SNAIL then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a little bow around the top of the feathers from one of the leftover strands pulled from the Burlap Ribbon and I added a sequin from the Gold Sequin Trim, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere it.

Four Feathers 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the image from the Four Feathers stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a Naturals Vanilla panel inside the card.  Then stamped one of the other feathers on a separate panel in Mossy Meadow ink, cut it out with the matching Feathers Framelits die and adhered it with SNAIL.

  1. What a beautiful fall card Amy! I just love this sentiment in the Merry Everything set. I can see this working year round. I love the way you incorporated the feathers into your card too, floaty like feathers in the wind 🙂 And it’s wonderful the way you always finish your cards inside, you’ve taught me never forget details 😉
