Wintertime Happy Winter Card for Stamping and Blogging – Stampin’ Up!

I used the Wintertime single stamp from Stampin’ Up! to create my card for the Stamping and Blogging SB72 Sketch.

Wintertime - Stamp With Amy K

Screen Shot 2014-09-09 at 1.48.53 PM

I started by adhering a panel of All Is Calm Specialty DSP to a panel of Whisper White, then to a Lost Lagoon card base with SNAIL.

Wintertime 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut two banners from a different designer paper from the All Is Calm DSP pack with the second smallest Banners Framelits die.  I trimmed just a little bit off both sides, then cut the banners in half and adhered them to banners that I’d cut from Lost Lagoon card stock with the same die.  I slid the pieces of the banners apart and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.

Wintertime 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked up the flourishes on the Wintertime stamp with Soft Sky ink and I used my Blender Pen to remove the ink from the three circles down the center on the top and bottom.  I colored the three circles with my Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker, then colored the sentiment with my Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write Marker and I stamped the images on a Whisper White panel.  I punched the corners with the Project Life Corner Punch and adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Lost Lagoon card stock (also punched with the Project Life Corner Punch) with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wintertime 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I tied a strand of Whisper White Baker’s Twine through the top of an All Is Calm Snowflake Embellishment then adhered the snowflake with a rolled up Glue Dot.  I adhered one of the snowflakes from the Frosted Sequins pack over the Snowflake Embellishment with a Glue Dot then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center.  I also added a few random silver sequins from the Frosted Sequins pack to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them.

I adhered a strip of All Is Calm DSP to a strip of Lost Lagoon card stock, then to a Whisper White panel inside the card.

  1. W o w! Your card is so fantastically detailed today….loving the rounded corners, the touch of pear pizzazz on the stamped filigree, the opposite banners, and one of my favorite is the all is calm metal embellishment WITH the frosted sequin on top! What an awesome detail to add pop to your card and I will case this for sure 😉 I love the care you put into this wonderful card today Amy 🙂
