I used the Bloom for You and Hi There stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a fall flower card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #157.
And the colors for my card were inspired by Pals Paper Arts #223.
I started by rolling my brayer across my Tangelo Twist ink pad, then rolling it across the inside of the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder. I placed a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the inked up embossing folder, then I ran it through my Big Shot. Quick tip: To clean the ink from the inside of your embossing folder after you’ve embossed your card stock, simply spray it with your Stampin’ Mist and wipe it with a clean cloth.
I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock, then to a Very Vanilla card base with SNAIL. I stamped the sentiment from the Hi There stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock. I sprinkled the sentiment with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.
I cut the branch and leaves from Basic Black card stock with the Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die, trimmed them down a little and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL. Then I stamped the Bloom For You image twice in Tangelo Twist ink on a Very Vanilla card stock panel, punched them out with the matching Fun Flower Punch and I curled the petals slightly with my Bone Folder.
I adhered the flowers together in the center with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the Bloom For You image again in VersaMark Ink on a Very Vanilla panel, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder, heat embossed it, punched it out with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, colored it with my Tangelo Twist Stampin’ Write Marker and adhered it to the center of the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the Bloom For You image again on a Very Vanilla panel in Tangelo Twist ink, adhered the panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock, then to the inside of the card.

Amy, this is beautiful! I totally ignored this EF but now that I see it used like this, its beauty really shines, especially in that color! It all pops with that burst of black, too! Gorgeous!
Thanks for stopping by to leave me a comment! 🙂
Amy this is really beautiful! What a striking color combo. One of my favorites from you.
Thanks so much Terri! That made me smile today. 🙂
Amy, what a gorgeous card! Love the way you used the embossing folder, it pops the pattern dramatically 🙂 Adding the embossed black hello and tri-colored center of your flower bring even more elegance! 🙂
Thanks Jill! So glad that you liked it, I was a little unsure on the color combo when I was making it but I think that it works!

Such a pretty card. I decided not to purchase that EF but you may have changed my mind!
Thanks Melanie! I’m glad that you liked it, I was a little on the fence about the embossing folder too but I really like it! 🙂

This is my favorite embossing folder, Amy, and you have used it to perfection. I love what you’ve done with the colors. So nice to see flowers among all the spooky cards 🙂 So glad you joined us this week at Pals Paper Arts!
Thanks so much Peggy! 🙂
I like this card. I haven’t done much with this technique, but this folder is beautiful with this technique.
Thanks so much Trude! 🙂
