Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees in White

I used the Festival of Trees stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.  I wanted to keep it fairly simple with the white on white so I only added a few gold touches.

Festival of Trees - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #158.

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Whisper White card base with SNAIL.

Festival of Trees 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the tree image from the Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink twice on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I sprinkled the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.

Festival of Trees 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I punched a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Scallop Edge Border Punch and I adhered it over the stamped Whisper White panel with SNAIL.  I cut the JOY letters from Whisper White card stock with the Little Letters Thinlits Dies and I embossed them with one of the Delicate Designs Embossing Folders.  I adhered the letters to the panel with a thin bead of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a strand of Gold 1/8″ Ribbon around the panel, adhering it with SNAIL, then I adhered the layered panel to the card front with SNAIL.

Festival of Trees 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped tree image from the Festival of Trees stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a separate Whisper White panel, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I punched the tree out with the matching Tree Punch and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Festival of Trees 4 - Stamp WIth Amy K

I stamped the sentiments and the tree image on a Whisper White panel, sprinkled them with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.  Then I adhered the panel inside the card.

  1. Very clever way to add texture with the embossed JOY, it makes it stand out just enough not to get lost. I’m going to have to remember that idea 🙂 I also love the elegant way that you embossed the two background trees and then popped out the center one with the gold, so pretty. Really beautiful card Amy, thanks for the great ideas here today 😉

  2. Wow! This is so pretty, Amy. I love the white-on-white with texturing and a little bit of gold. Beautiful design! Thank you for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
