I used the Watercolor Winter Too and Trendy Trims stamp sets to create my card to share today. CAS usually means clean and simple…for my card today, I’m calling it clean and shiny! 😉
There is a new Stamping and Blogging sketch challenge today so once you check out my project, be sure to stop by the other design team members blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch. Here is the sketch:
I started by stamping the snowflake image from the Trendy Trims photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink all over on a panel of Berumda Bay card stock. I sprinkled the panel with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed the images.
I adhered the stamped panel to a panel cut from the Silver Foil Sheets, then to a Bermuda Bay card base with with SNAIL. I stamped the sentiment from the Watercolor Winter Too photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a smaller panel of Bermuda Bay card stock and I sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.
I stamped the snowflake images from the Trendy Trims stamp set around the sentiment in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled them with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them. I adhered the stamped panel to a panel cut from Silver Foil Sheets with SNAIL, then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a little bow with 1/8″ Silver Ribbon and adhered it to the card front with a rolled up Glue Dot. Then I added an All Is Calm Snowflake Embellishment under the bow, using Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it. I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center to finish it.
I stamped the snowflake image from the Trendy Trims stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card. I stamped the image full strength, then stamped it without reinking several times to get the lighter images.
Now that you’ve seen my project, be sure to stop by the other Stamping & Blogging Design Team Member’s blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch.
