Stampin’ Up! Gift Card & Money Holders

It’s time to start wrapping those gifts!  Stampin’ Up! has so great tools to help create quick and cute gift packaging.  I used the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies, the Gift Card Enclosures and the Envelope Punch Board to create gift card and money holders for the holidays to share with you today.

Gift Card and Money Holders - Stamp With Amy K

Each of these projects took me less than 10 minutes to create, I love quick and easy when it comes to wrapping.

Gift Card Enclosures - Stamp With Amy K

For the project, I used the Gift Card Enclosures as the base.  They are all precut and ready to decorate.  I created a little belly band by cutting a 9″ strip from the Under The Tree Speciality DSP, scoring it at 2″ and again at 6″, then adhering it together on the back side of the Gift Card Enclosure with Sticky Strip.  I punched two Tree Punches from the Under The Tree DSP, adhered one with Sticky Strip and one with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added a Gold 1/8″ Ribbon bow with a Glue Dot.

The slits for the gift card are precut so I slid the gift card inside, then colored the tag from the Merry Everything stamp set with my Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on a panel of Whisper White.  I punched the tag out with the matching Note Tag Punch, then stapled a strip of Cherry Cobbler 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon to the end.  I adhered the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish this project.

Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies - Stamp With Amy K

For this project I cut a panel of the Under the Tree DSP with the Gift Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies.  I adhered the envelope together with Sticky Strip, then cut the banner with one of the dies and adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.  I cut the little tag from Kraft Card Stock with one of the dies and colored the To:/From: stamp from the Merry Everything stamp set with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker and I stamped it on the tag.  I stamped the snowman from the Holiday Home photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored the little scarf with the Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers.  Then I punched the end of the tag with the 1/16″ Circle Punch, tied a bow from Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the little circle die from the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies and I cut two circles from Under the Tree DSP.  I placed a piece of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine on the top flap and adhered it with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  Then I adhered the circle die cut over it.  I adhered the second circle on the lower flap with a Stampin’ Dimensional and I wrapped the twine around the Dimensionals to close the envelope.

Merry Everything - Stamp With Amy K

I have a tutorial showing how to create the base for this money holder on my tutorials page here.  I created the card base with a sheet of Kraft Card Stock, following the instructions on my tutorial.  Once I had the base created, I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Everything stamp set in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Envelope Punch Board Money Holder - Stamp With Amy K

I wrapped a long strand of Cherry Cobbler 1″ Sheer Linen Ribbon around the money holder and I tied a big bow.  Then I punched a tree from the Under the Tree DSP, punched a 1/16″ Circle at the top and I tied it to the Cherry Cobbler ribbon with a strand of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine.  I finished the project by punching a star from Gold Glimmer Paper with the Itty Bitty Punch Pack punch and adhering it to the top of the tree with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
