Stampin’ Up! Painted Petals Amazing Card

I’ve got another sneak peek at a new stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! 2015 Occasions Catalog.  Today I used the new Painted Petals stamp set to create my card.

Painted Petals - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #166.

Screen Shot 2014-12-14 at 4.29.45 PMI started by adhering a panel from the All Abloom DSP Stack to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL, then to a Strawberry Slush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Painted Petals 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Painted Petals stamp set (available Jan 6) in Mossy Meadow ink on a Very Vanilla panel.  Then I stamped the flower image from the Painted Petals stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink and the leaf images in Pistachio Pudding ink on the Very Vanilla panel.

Painted Petals 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel with SNAIL to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock that I’d punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.  Then I wrapped a strand of Strawberry Slush Thick Baker’s Twine around the panel, tied a bow and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a small Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

All Abloom DSP - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip from the All Abloom DSP Stack to a strip of Strawberry Slush card stock, then to a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.
