I used one of the new Sale-a-bration exclusive stamp sets called You Brighten My Day and the new Sheltering Tree stamp set from the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog to create my card to share today.
My card design was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 249.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Sheltering Tree photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 6) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel from the Stacked With Love DSP Stack (available Jan 6).
I adhered a panel of Whisper White card stock to a panel of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock, then to the DSP panel with SNAIL. I trimmed the excess Whisper White and Crisp Cantaloupe card stock off even with the edge of the DSP panel to make sure that both lined up correctly, then I adhered the DSP panel to a larger panel of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock with SNAIL.
I stamped the little hearts from the You Brighten My Day stamp set (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 6) in Strawberry Slush ink on a Strawberry Slush panel, punched them out with the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, then adhered them with SNAIL to hearts cut from Silver Foil Sheets with the smallest Hearts Collection Framelits die.
I used a little tape to adhere three strands of Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker’s Twine to the Whisper White panel, then I adhered the layered hearts to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied three little bows from Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker’s Twine and adhered them over the hearts with rolled up Glue Dots.
I adhered one little heart that I’d punched from Stawberry Slush card stock with the Hearts Border Punch next to the sentiment, then adhered the panel to a Strawberry Slush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.
I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig and the little heart image from the You Brighten My Day stamp set to stamp a row of Strawberry Slush hearts across the bottom of a Whisper White panel inside the card.
