Stampin’ Up! Sheltering Tree for Stamping and Blogging

I used the Sheltering Tree stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card for the Stamping and Blogging sketch challenge this week.  Once you take a look at my card, be sure to stop by the other Design Team Member’s blogs to peek at their creations too!

Sheltering Tree - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by the Stamping and Blogging SB91 sketch.

Screen Shot 2015-02-10 at 3.02.31 PMI started by stamping the images from the Sheltering Tree photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede, Wild Wasabi and Tuxedo Black Memento inks on a Whisper White card stock panel.  Then I stamped the bike from image in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Sheltering Tree 3 - Stamp With Amy KI stamped the sentiment from the Sheltering Tree stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock, then I stamped the flower images in Calypso Coral and Wild Wasabi inks.  I stamped the flower images again across two other strips of Whisper White card stock.

I adhered the Whisper White stamped panels to a panel of Wild Wasabi card stock with SNAIL, leaving a very small gap between them.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel and tied a bow through one of the Calypso Coral buttons from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack (Sale-A-Bration item) and I adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot.  Then I adhered the layered panel to a Calypso Coral card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the little flower images from the Sheltering Tree stamp set in Wild Wasabi and Calypso Coral inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
