Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Perfection Vellum Mini Treat Bags

I used the new Sale-A-Bration stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Nature’s Perfection and the new Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack to create Mini Treat Bag thank you cards to share today.  These are super quick to put together and really cute too!

Nature's Perfection - Stamp With Amy K

I saw this little treat bag made by Wendy Knowles out on Pinterest and I loved it.  I decided to try making them from the new vellum pack.

The Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack (Sale-A-Bration item) is a pack of 24 sheets that measure 6″ x 6″.  You get two of each sheet, so they’re the perfect size for cutting treat bags!  I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies to cut three of the sets of vellum sheets and I assembled the bags with a little Fast Fuse Adhesive.

Nature's Perfection 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I wrapped strips of card stock and DSP around the assembled treat bags and adhered them with Fast Fuse.  I also wrapped a strand of Baker’s Twine from the new In Color Accessory Pack (Sale-A-Bration item) around the bags and tied little bows.

Nature's Perfection 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the butterfly image from the Nature’s Perfection stamp set (Sale-A-Bration item) on Whisper White card stock and I punched them out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch…love that they coordinate!  I added three Pearl Basic Jewels down the center, then adhered them to the bags with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Nature's Perfection 1 - Stamp With Amy K

For the little cards inside, I stamped the flower image from the Nature’s Perfection stamp set along the side, then stamped the sentiment from the Best Day Ever stamp set (Sale-A-Bration item).  I inked up the butterfly image again, stamped it off twice on scrap paper, then stamped it over the sentiment.

Nature's Perfection 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a coordinating panel of card stock with SNAIL, then punched Artisan Label Punches, scored them in the middle and stapled them to the top of the card with the Handheld Stapler so that the little cards are easier to remove from the treat bags.

I can’t wait to play more with the vellum and In Color Accessory Pack.  The new stamp set is beautiful too!  It’s an added bonus that you can earn them all for free!

  1. Any time someone opens a home made card, it’s special…..but opening a FUN home made card is the Best! Nothing says “Love” and “I Care” more than a gift made from you! I love sending my cards out because I’m giving a part of who I am to that person. Super fun treat bags, Amy, sure to bring a smile to the receiver’s faces!
I sent out my double pocket card to my mom last week. I put a teabag in the front pocket and the tag punched & stamped bookmark on the inside pocket. This is the message she sent to me: “That is an exquisite card. Check out that word in the dictionary. Thank you for the card and the teabag. I will enjoy both!”

  2. Such meaningful comments today… Amy, your creations are lovely. I am very eager to get this new vellum. I appreciate how you always have something new each day! (And thanks for visiting my blog.)

  3. Ahh, these are adorable Amy! You just keep cranking out awesome projects day after day. I REALLY wish you would move to Indiana so I could take your classes. You could move into the empty house across the street:)

      • The weather??? UHMM, well today is another snow day off of school for my kids, the 5th since Feb. 16th but hey, whose counting? The weather today is sunny:) If you like snow, you will love it here!

  4. Hee hee, it got up to 75 here today! Love this sunshine, we went outside and played for a while 🙂

Your treat bags are gorgeous in the vellum!! Especially with the cool card insert 😉 Roberta is right, it is wonderful to make cards for people. I always like to imagine their smile. I really appreciate the tip that you can use the butterfly punch with the new SAB set. I’m going to take another look, I love how you keep “helping” me, lol!!

    • Ha! Anything that I can do to offer assistance. 😉 If there is ever a question, the answer is always, “Yes, you need that!!” Glad that you liked my treat bags, there were fun to make!
