Stampin’ Up! Petal Potpourri Hello Sweet Friend

I made this card with the Petal Potpourri, Nature’s Perfection and Six-Sided Sampler stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!

Petal Potpourri - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Pals Paper Arts 244.

Screen Shot 2015-03-22 at 2.27.52 PMI started by adhering a panel from the All Abloom DSP stack with SNAIL to a panel of Whisper White card stock that was cut to the same size.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock and I heat embossed it with Blushing Bride Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

Petal Potpourri 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to the DSP panel with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Daffodil Delight 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon around the panel, adhering it with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of the Mossy Meadow twine from the In Color Accessory Pack (Sale-A-Bration item) around the panel and taped it to the back.   I adhered the layered panel to a Strawberry Slush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Nature's Perfection 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower center from the Petal Potpourri stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Whisper White panel and heat embossed it with Crushed Curry Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I stamped the larger flower image from the Petal Potpourri stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink around the embossed center, then punched the image out with the Flower Medallion Punch and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Nature's Perfection - Stamp With Amy K

I cut four leaves from Pistachio Pudding card stock with the Bouquet Bigz L Die, adhered them together in pairs, then tucked them under the flower and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.  I stamped the butterfly image from the Nature’s Perfection stamp set (Sale-A-Bration item) in Blushing Bride ink on a panel of Pink Pirouette card stock, punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch, then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete the card front.

Nature's Perfection 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip from the All Abloom DSP Stack to a Whisper White panel inside the card, then stamped and punched another butterfly and added it for the final touch.

  1. Another beautiful card! Thank you for your very detailed instructions and for showing the inside of the card too.

  2. Amy, I love your adaptive style! You can make a stunning card using anything from a bright bold pattern to this very sweet and feminine paper.

  3. Your card has a delicate edge but then the burst of Strawberry Slush just pops up, happy bright color with the Crushed Curry 🙂 It does make me think Spring as well, we can only hope. We are having a much better time then those further up North – some just got snow!! My parents got a mix of slushy stuff. Yuck!
