I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called From The Herd to create one of those Etch-a-sketch cards that I’ve been seeing all over Pinterest.  My stamping friend Mary Laffin also sent me on of these for my birthday!  These cards are so easy to make and they’re fun too!

Cindy Brumbaugh created a card that was my inspiration for this one and you can see it here.

I started by stamping the image from the From The Herd stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a panel of White Vellum card stock.  I adhered the vellum panel to a panel of Smoky Slate card stock with SNAIL.

I used the smaller rectangle die from the Project Life Cards & Labels Dies to cut the center out of a panel of panel of Real Red card stock and I punched the corners with the Project Life corner Punch.  Then I adhered the Real Red die cut panel to the White Vellum panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the From The Herd stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a strip of Real Red card stock and I heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I punched the ends with the Banner Punch and adhered the sentiment to the card front with Glue Dots.

I punched two circles from Whisper White card stock with my 1″ Circle Punch and I adhered them to the lower corners with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I punched the corners of a Real Red card base with the Project Life Corner Punch and I adhered the stamped panel to the front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment and the images from the From The Herd stamp set in Real Red ink on a Whisper White panel (that I’d also punched with the Project Life Corner Punch) and I adhered it inside the card.
