Stampin’ Up! Class of 2015 in Black and Gold

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Class of 2015 to create my card to share today.  I can’t believe that the school year is ending in about 5 weeks, yikes!!

Class of 2015 1 - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #160.

My card design was also loosely based on Pals Paper Arts #248.

I started by adhering two panels from the Back to Black DSP pack to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL.  I adhered a strand of Gold 5/8″ Satin Ribbon around the panel with SNAIL, then adhered the layered panel to a Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Class of 2015 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I used a Post-It Note to cover the “2015” and I inked up the Class of 2015 stamp with VersaMark Ink.  I removed the Post-It Note, stamped the image on a Whisper White panel, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I used a framelit from the Squares Collection Framelits Dies to cut a square from a panel of Gold Foil Sheets.  I adhered the Whisper White stamped panel to the back of the Gold Foil Sheet with SNAIL, then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Class of 2015 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the image from the Class of 2015 stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and I stamped it on a Whisper White panel.  I cut the bottom banner out with my Paper Snips and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

Class of 2015 4 - Stamp With Amy K

My camera wasn’t being very cooperative with the photos for the inside of this card, this is the best shot that I could get…I simply adhered a strip of Gold Foil Sheet to a Whisper White panel inside.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

  1. You know, I looked over this stamp, I just wasn’t sure I could get it to work for me. I really love the way you split it up and cut out the 2015! What an cool idea Amy 😉 I agree with Melanie, you really are amazing with the ideas that you “see” in the sketches or challenges!! Keep them coming because you help me create too 😀

  2. Could you please send me the web page about the red, white and black card? I want to use the format for a graduation card. Her school colors. Thank you. I didn’t realize I’d erased it.
