Stampin’ Up! Petal Potpourri Thankful For You

I used the Stampin’ Up! Petal Potpourri and Sheltering Tree stamp sets to create my card to share today.

Petal Potpourri - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 264.

Screen Shot 2015-04-17 at 3.08.38 PMThe colors for my card were inspired by The Card Concept 33.  I’d say that my card fits into the clean and layered category.

The colors for my card were also inspired by ColourQ #287.

Screen Shot 2015-04-17 at 3.25.26 PMI started by embossing a panel of Basic Gray card stock with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL, then to a Strawberry Slush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Petal Potpourri 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut a banner with my Paper Snips from Neutrals DSP Stacks and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I trimmed a panel of Whisper White card stock at an angle and I stamped the sentiment from the Sheltering Tree photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink across the panel, then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

Petal Potpourri 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a panel of the Back to Black DSP across the Whisper White stamped panel with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the flower image from the Petal Potpourri stamp set in Strawberry Slush Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the flower center in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Petal Potpourri 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I punched the flower image out with the matching Flower Medallion Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

Petal Potpourri 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower image from the Petal Potpourri stamp set in Strawberry Slush and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

  1. Thank you for being one of the few people who show the inside of their cards. I always where to go from the outside or where someone was going with their cards. So, again Thank you!

  2. Oh my gosh Amy, what a powerful card! It just struck me with the angles and the colors, so, so cool! The DSP is a great play, rain drops for flowers (ok maybe I’m stretching what you meant, lol) 😉 I really love all the texture on your card too! A gorgeous wow card Amy 😀
