I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp sets From the Herd and Hardwood to create my card to share today.  Those goofy animals make me smile every time that I use them!  🙂

My card design was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 265.

I started by stamping the image of the animals from the From the Herd stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.  I masked off the left side with Post-It Notes prior to stamping the image so that the images wouldn’t show outside the barn door panel.  Then I adhered the stamped panel to a Soft Suede card base with SNAIL.

I stamped the image from the Hardwood stamp in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Real Red card stock.  I used one of my Squares Collection Framelits Dies to cut the center of the panel out, then I adhered the panel over the animal image with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the Hardwood image again in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Soft Suede card stock, then I cut it into strips.  I adhered the strips around the square die cut with SNAIL to create the frame.

I stamped the sentiment from the From the Herd stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a Crumb Cake panel, punched it out with the Word Window Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Gold Basic Metal Button, tied a small knot on the back and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot to make it look like a little door handle.

I stamped the sentiment from the From the Herd stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock inside the card.  Then I added a strip of the Real Red card stock that I’d trimmed from the edge of panel on the front of the card to finish the inside.
