I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp sets called World of Dreams and A Dozen Thoughts to create my card to share today.
My card design was inspired by The Paper Players #242.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the A Dozen Thoughts stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I adhered the panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL, then to a Crushed Curry card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered a panel from the Typeset DSP pack to the top half of the Very Vanilla panel with SNAIL, then I adhered strips of Basic Black card stock and Typeset DSP that I’d punched with the Hexagon Punch across the panel with SNAIL.
I stamped the image from the World of Dreams stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I punched a 1″ Circle from a Post It Note, then placed the Post It Note over the image and sponged Crushed Curry ink over it. I cut the image out with an Ovals Collection Framelits Die and adhered it with SNAIL to a Basic Black card stock oval that I’d cut with the next size up Ovals Collection Framelits Die.
I adhered the layered ovals to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I pulled a strand of Basic Black Baker’s Twine through a Crushed Curry button from the Regals Designer Buttons pack. I tied a bow with the twine and adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot.
I adhered a strip of Typeset DSP to a Very Vanilla panel, then adhered the Vanilla panel to a Basic Black panel inside the card.

Beautiful card, Amy! I just love black, yellow and white/vanilla cards! Your sun is so pretty with the silhouette stamped on top! Love the strips of dp’s….how fun! I just got back from being gone for a week. My Mom’s birthday party was part of the trip; she was so touched by all the cards she received…thank you for being part of the “fun” that she had!
