Stampin’ Up! Petal Potpourri Thank You

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp sets called Petal Potpourri and Lots of Thanks to create my card for the Stamping and Blogging sketch challenge this week.  Be sure to stop by the other Design Team Member’s Blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch!

Petal Potpourri - Stamp With Amy K

Here is the Stamping and Blogging SB103 sketch:

Screen Shot 2015-05-05 at 3.35.18 PMI started by stamping the sentiment from the Lots of Thanks stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink (I used a Post-It Note to cover the “for caring” part of the sentiment before I inked the image) on a panel of White Vellum.  I let it dry completely, then adhered the White Vellum to a panel from the Painted Blooms DSP pack with Glue Dots.

Petal Potpourri 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the layered vellum and DSP panel to a panel of Wild Wasabi card stock with SNAIL, then to a Rose Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut the branch from Wild Wasabi card stock with the Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die (on the retiring sale for 50% off!!) and I stamped part of the sentiment again over one branch in StazOn Jet Black Ink.  I wanted the branches placed a little differently than the die cut shape so I snipped the two branches apart and adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.

Petal Potpourri 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images from the Petal Potpourri stamp set in Rose Red and Daffodil Delight inks twice on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I punched the images out with the matching Flower Medallion Punch and adhered the together with with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I made a small circle with some of the Painted Blooms Cotton Twine and taped it on the back of the flower punches, then I adhered the flower punches to the card front with Glue Dots.

Petal Potpourri 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a Rose Red Candy Dot from the Regals Candy Dots pack next to the sentiment, then added two Rhinestone Basics Jewels near the flower to finish the card front.

Petal Potpourri 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images in Rose Red and Daffodil Delight inks on a panel of Whisper White inside the card.

Now that you’ve seen my project, be sure to stop by the other Stamping & Blogging Design Team Member’s blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch.
