I’ve just joined the Sunday Stamps Design Team and I’m excited to be a part of this great group! Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps Blog to check out the creations from the other Design Team Members too and link up your projects to the challenge post. I can’t wait to see what you all create!
I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Moon Lake to create my card for the Sunday Stamps SSC101 Challenge. Here is the photo that my card was inspired by:
The layout for my card was also inspired by Mojo Monday 396.
I started by adhering a panel from the Adventure Bound DSP Stack to a panel of Basic Gray card stock with SNAIL, then to a Smoky Slate card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a smaller panel of the Adventure Bound DSP at an angle and I adhered that over the larger panel with SNAIL.
I stamped the image from the Moon Lake stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Smoky Slate card stock and I sponged around the panel with Island Indigo and Pool Party inks. I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Gray card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the Painted Petals stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Smoky Slate card stock, then I punched it out with the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch, adhered it to a 1-3/8″ Circle Punch from Basic Gray card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered two strips with SNAIL that were cut from the Adventure Bound DSP pack and punched with the Hexagon Punch to create banners. Then I pulled a strand of Basic Gray Baker’s Twine (on the retiring sale for 50% off!) through a Silver Basic Metal Button, tied a small knot on the back and adhered it with a Glue Dot to finish the card front.
I stamped the image from the Moon Lake stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
