I was so happy to see the White Christmas stamp set back in the Stampin’ Up! 2015-16 Catalog. 🙂 I pulled it back out to use for the Sunday Stamps SSC102 sketch challenge this week.
Here is the Sunday Stamps SSC102 sketch. Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog check out what the other Design Team Members have created with this sketch. Hope that you’ll play along too!
The theme for my card was inspired by Merry Monday #159.
I started by adhering a panel of the 2015-17 In Color Envelope Paper to a panel of Tip Top Taupe card stock with SNAIL, then to a Cucumber Crush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the images of the trees and birds from the White Christmas photopolymer stamp set in StazOn Jet Black ink on a panel from the Cherry On Top DSP Stack (it looks like blowing snow to me!!) and I colored the images with my Tip Top Taupe and Real Red Stampin’ Write Markers. Then I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Tip Top Taupe card stock with SNAIL.
I punched a strip of DSP from the Cherry On Top DSP Stack with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL. Then I adhered the layered tree image over the banner with SNAIL.
I stamped the banner and snowman images from the White Christmas stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Whisper White card stock panel and I colored them with my Cucumber Crush, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Markers. Then I stamped the snowflake images in Pool Party ink and added a few little lines of “snow” with my Pool Party Stampin’ Write Marker under the snowman. I punched the image out with my 2″ Circle Punch, layered it over a 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch from Real Red card stock, then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment and snowman images from the White Christmas stamp set in Cucumber Crush and Real Red inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
I love this color combination for holiday cards! The Cucumber Crush and Tip Top Taupe work perfectly with Real Red. I think that you’ll be seeing this combination a lot from me as we get closer to Christmas. And for the record, I now “officially” have two Christmas cards done! 😉

Well, I see you took advantage of this Christmas stamp set showcasing in the new catalog and got a head start on your Christmas card stash this year, Amy! Good for you! I Love this set….don’t know why I haven’t purchased it yet, but I should because I ALWAYS like what I see whenever someone uses this set! So cute! I agree with your dp choice too…it certainly does give the feeling of blowing, swirling snow! Really nice card…I like the green for your banner as a reminder that when the snow melts, spring will soon arrive~
