Stampin’ Up! You’re So Sweet Gift Bag

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called You’re So Sweet and the Gift Bag Punch Board to create my project for the Sketch and Stamp SB107 sketch this week.

You're So Sweet - Stamp With Amy K

Here is the sketch SB107, head over to the Sketch & Stamp blog to play along!  And be sure to click the links below to see what the other Design Team Members have created with this sketch.

The colors and embellishments for my gift bag were inspired by The Paper Players #247.  I used sequins, a flower and yellow on my project.

Screen Shot 2015-06-02 at 2.55.50 PMI started by cutting a 6″ x 11″ piece of Bermuda Bay card stock.  I created a medium size bag with the Gift Bag Punch Board, using the instructions supplied with the tool.  I adhered a panel from the Cherry on Top DSP stack to the front of the bag before the final assembly.

You're So Sweet 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I punched a 2″ x 4-3/8″ panel of Whisper White card stock with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch on one end and the Banner Triple Punch on the other end.  Then I colored the sentiment from the You’re So Sweet stamp set with my Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder and Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on the tag.

You're So Sweet 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I clipped the tag and a strand of the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim to the bag with a Clothespin and I added one of the 2015-17 In Color Blossom Accents with a Glue Dot next to the sentiment.  I pulled a strand of the Watermelon Wonder 1″ Dotted Lace Trim through the punches on the top of the bag to close it.

Now that you’ve seen my project, be sure to stop by the other Stamping & Blogging Design Team Member’s blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch.

  1. Super cute and really bright treat bag, Amy! I like the sequins and clothespin to add some “fun” to the unknown sweet(s) inside! Hope all is going smoothly for you~

  2. Gorgeous colors and so pretty! I rarely make gift bags even though I have the tools – really must make them more often. I’m glad to see a close-up of the new lace trim, which is now going on my wish list for the next order.

  3. Totally adorable bag Amy, I just love this new punch board, yipee, new stamping toys!… LOL…and I like this new You’re So Sweet Stamp set too, your tag is so bright and cheery

  4. Went to all the sites to check out the cards everyone made. I fell in love. Everyone did a great job. I’m not good with the computer. Tell me how everyone downloads their pictures and the cards they made. I would join your group loads and but don’t how to downloads. I appreciate all the fun you ladies have making your projects. I want to come and join the fun if I can. Thank you one and all.

    • Hi Gloria, so glad that you’d like to join us! 🙂 In order to enter our challenge, you’ll need to have a place where you upload your cards (a Split Coast gallery, a blog, etc) and then there is a video with instructions for how to upload your card to the Sketch & Stamp Blog at the bottom of the Sketch & Stamp blog post. Simple as that! I do hope that you’ll join us! 🙂

  5. It is very bright and cheery. I almost did a bag too Amy!! I love how that lucious ribbon almost jumps off the pages.

  6. What a fun bag! I love that bright cheerful lace. Thanks for playing along with my tic tac toe challenge this week at The Paper Players!
