Stampin’ Up! Garden In Bloom

I used the Garden In Bloom stamp set and a little of the English Garden DSP from Stampin’ Up! to create my card for the Sketch and Stamp SB109 sketch challenge this week.

Garden In Bloom - Stamp With Amy K

Here is this weeks Sketch & Stamp SB109 sketch.  Be sure to stop by the Sketch and Stamp blog to play along too!

Screen Shot 2015-06-16 at 2.45.40 PMThe butterflies on my card were inspired by The Card Concept 37.  I would say that my card falls into the clean and layered category.

Screen Shot 2015-06-16 at 2.50.37 PMI started by adhering a panel of the English Garden DSP to a panel of Old Olive card stock with SNAIL, then to a Blushing Bride card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a thin strip of Old Olive card stock with SNAIL down the right side of the card front.

Garden In Bloom 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the images from the Garden in Bloom photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede, Blushing Bride, Hello Honey and Old Olive inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered that panel to a panel of Blushing Bride card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

Garden In Bloom 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the butterfly images from the Garden in Bloom stamp set again in Soft Suede and Hello Honey inks on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock.  I snipped them out with my Paper Snips, then adhered them over the butterflies that I’d stamped on the larger Whisper White panel, using a Glue Dot to adhere them.  Then I added three Pearl Basic Jewels down the center of each butterfly.

Garden In Bloom 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Garden in Bloom stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, then I adhered the sentiment panel to a panel of Old Olive card stock with SNAIL and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Garden In Bloom 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment and butterfly images from the Garden in Bloom stamp set in Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, Hello Honey and Old Olive inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Now that you’ve seen my project, be sure to stop by the other Stamping & Blogging Design Team Member’s blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch.

  1. Your card is impeccable. The colors, layering, stamps, paper choices, everything! All work together so beautifully. I don’t know how you create such beauty every day for your blog My best cards seem to be the ones that take me hours, even days, to put together.
