I used the new Host Exclusive stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Floral Wings to create my card to share today.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #127.

And the butterflies were inspired by The Card Concept 37.  This is another clean and layered card for their challenge this week.

I started embossing a panel of Mint Macron card stock with the Fluttering Embossing Folder.  Then I cut a square from Whisper White card stock and a square from the Go Wild DSP stack.

I punched the corners of the two square panels with the Project Life Corner Punch, then adhered them together with SNAIL.  I cut the squares in half and then in half again and adhered them to the embossed panel with SNAIL.  I stamped the sentiment from the Floral Wings stamp set in Watermelon Wonder ink on the embossed panel, adhered it to a panel of Watermelon Wonder card stock with SNAIL, then to a Tip Top Taupe card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the large butterfly image from the Floral Wings stamp set in Mint Macron ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the flower and leaf images in Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush inks, then cut the butterfly out with the matching Bold Butterfly Framelits Die.  I adhered the butterfly die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the smaller butterfly image from White Vellum with the Bold Butterfly Framelits Die and I adhered it with a Glue Dot over the larger butterfly.  Then I snipped the top very edge off a strand of Watermelon Wonder 1″ Dotted Lace Trim, pulled it through a Classy Designer Button, tied a bow and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.

I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Floral Wings stamp set in Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
