Stampin Up! Floral Wings in Yellow and Gray

I used the Stampin’ Up! Host Exclusive stamp set called Floral Wings to create my card to share today.

Floral Wings - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #192.

Screen Shot 2015-06-28 at 1.59.56 PMThe colors for my card were inspired by The Card Concept 38.  I’ve created a clean and layered card for this challenge.

Screen Shot 2015-06-28 at 2.06.45 PMI started by stamping the stem and flower images from the Floral Wings stamp set in Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi inks along two edges of a panel of Whisper White card stock.

Floral Wings 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Floral Wings stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, then I embossed the panel with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel over the panel with the stamped edges with SNAIL, then adhered the layered panel to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Floral Wings 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the butterfly image from the Floral Wings stamp set in Smoky Slate ink and I stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the flower and leaf images in Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi inks, then cut the butterfly out with the matching Bold Butterfly Framelits die.

Floral Wings 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the die cut butterfly to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then pulled a strand of Whisper White Baker’s Twine through a Vintage Faceted Designer Button.  I tied a little bow with the twine and adhered the button to the center of the butterfly with a Glue Dot.

Floral Wings 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the stem and flower images in Wild Wasabi and Daffodil Delight inks again on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
