Stampin’ Up! Garden in Bloom Thanks

I used the new Garden in Bloom and Cottage Greetings stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a clean and simple thank you card.  I love this flower image!  The color combinations with it are endless.

Garden in Bloom - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #129.

Screen Shot 2015-07-01 at 11.54.42 AMI started by stamping the outline images for the flower, leaves and bee from the Garden in Bloom photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a Whisper White panel.

Garden in Bloom 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the inside parts of the flower and the bee with the Garden in Bloom images in Calypso Coral and So Saffron inks.  Then I stamped the leaves in Wild Wasabi ink.

Garden in Bloom 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I used the fine point of my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to draw the little bee “trail”, then I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Greetings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink along left side of the panel.

Garden in Bloom 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL, then to a Calypso Coral card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a single So Saffron Candy Dot from the Subtles Candy Dots pack next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

Garden in Bloom 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Garden in Bloom stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, Calypso Coral ink, So Saffron ink and Wild Wasabi ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
