Yep, it’s officially Christmas in July at my house.  🙂  I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Lots of Joy to create my card to share today.  When I saw the Freshly Made Sketches sketch challenge this week, the first thing that I thought of was a present so that’s what I tried to create with my card.

My card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #193.

I started by adhering a panel from the Merry Moments DSP pack to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL, then to a Cherry Cobbler card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a wide band of Mossy Meadow card stock to to card front, then stamped the sentiment from the Lots of Joy stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  I sprinkled the sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it, then adhered the panel with SNAIL to the Mossy Meadow card stock panel.

I adhered a small panel from the Merry Moments DSP pack over the left side the Cherry Cobbler panel with SNAIL, then added a strip of Mossy Meadow card stock next to it to cover the seam.

I punched a bow with the Bow Builder Punch from Mossy Meadow card stock, then adhered the bow together and to the card front with Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lots of Joy stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
