Stampin’ Up! Gift From The Garden

I used the cute new stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Gift From The Garden to create my card to share today.

Gift From The Garden - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 276.  The previous sketch that I chose was SSSC265.
Screen Shot 2015-07-10 at 4.48.38 PMI started by adhering a panel from the Farmers Market DSP to a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered a narrower panel from the same pack of DSP over the center of the first panel, then I adhered the layered panel to an Old Olive card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Gift From The Garden 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the flower pot image from the Gift From The Garden stamp set in Old Olive ink.  I used my Blender Pen to remove the ink from the flowers on the right side and I colored them with my Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Marker, then I stamped the image on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock and to the card front with SNAIL.

Gift From The Garden 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the flower pot image from the Gift From The Garden stamp set in Crumb Cake ink and stamped it on a separate panel of Very Vanilla card stock and I snipped the pots out and adhered them over the Old Olive images with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I inked the image one more time in Old Olive ink and stamped it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, then snipped out the one little leaf on the center pot and adhered it with a tiny dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Crumb Cake panel.

Gift From The Garden 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from Gift From the Garden stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a strip of Blackberry Bliss card stock, then the card front with SNAIL.  I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Silver Basic Metal Button, tied a bow, then adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot.

Farmers Market DSP - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip of Farmers Market DSP to a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.

  1. Amy, I really like your use of this stamp set! Of course the gingham looks great with it but the little bit of the vegetable print paper peeking through is lovely!

  2. Cute card! I love those papers together that way. Very clean looking and some purple is in there, too!! I think I may be able to use that DSP after all, now that I see it on a card. Thanks!

  3. I love how you used the paper – great card! I took a chance on this paper and love the colors. I’ve used it only once and am going to be looking for more ways to use it so will be casing your card. I think it will be a good way to use an old stamp set for the plants, Pocket Silhouettes, which I bought unused at a garage sale. (I’m still trying to pare down my wish list.)

    • Thanks Kristie! The stamp set didn’t grab me when I first looked at it, but I’ve been seeing a lot of cards lately with images from it, so it quickly moved to my “must have” list. 🙂
