Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Festival of Trees and a little of the Holiday Fancy Foil Designer Vellum from the upcoming Holiday Catalog to create my card to share today.

Festival of Trees - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #197.

Screen Shot 2015-08-01 at 3.23.25 PMI started by adhering a panel from the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (available Sept 1) to a Mint Macaron card base with Glue Dots that I hid behind some of the tree images.

Then I punched the end of a wide strip of Cherry Cobbler DSP from the Regals Designer Series Paper Stack with the Banner Triple Punch and I adhered that to the card front with SNAIL.

Festival of Trees 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock in Cherry Cobbler ink.  I punched the corners of the panel with the Project Life Corner Punch, then adhered it with SNAIL to a panel of Garden Green card stock that I’d also punched with the Project Life Corner Punch.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with SNAIL.

Festival of Trees 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the tree image from the Festival of Trees stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the garland image over the tree in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  Then I stamped the ornament image over the tree in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I punched the tree out with the Tree Punch and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I punched a star the with Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack punch from Silver Foil Sheets and I adhered it to the top of the tree with a Glue Dot to finish the card front.

Festival of Trees 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Festival of Trees stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.  I also added a leftover strip of the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum, using Glue Dots to adhere it.
