Stampin’ Up! Garden In Bloom for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Garden in Bloom to create my card for the Sunday Stamp color challenge this week.

Garden In Bloom - Stamp With Amy K

Here are the Sunday Stamps SSC107 colors.  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to check out what the other Design Team Members have created with this sketch and be sure to play along too!

Screen Shot 2015-08-04 at 10.27.51 PMThe layout for my card was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 280.

Screen Shot 2015-08-08 at 2.32.42 PMI started by stamping the outline flower and leaf images and the sentiment from the Garden in Bloom photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

Garden In Bloom 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the larger flower images in Melon Mambo ink, the flower shadow images in Cherry Cobbler ink, the flower centers in Pink Pirouette ink and the leaves in Wild Wasabi ink over the outline stamps.  I adhered a strip of Basic Black card stock to the left side of the panel, then I adhered the panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.

Garden In Bloom 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I wrapped a strand of Melon Mambo 1/8″ Cotton Ribbon around the stamped panel, adhering it with SNAIL, then I adhered the panel to a Melon Mambo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I punched a Pink Pirouette DSP banner from Subtles DSP Stack and I adhered it to the back of the Basic Black card stock panel with SNAIL.

Garden In Bloom 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Classy Designer Button, tied a bow, then adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot.

Garden In Bloom 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Garden in Bloom stamp set again on a Whisper White panel inside the card…only I stamped the large flower image the wrong way so it didn’t quite match up.  I’m calling it “artistic liberty” rather than a goof.  😉
