I used the one of the new Stampin’ Up! stamp sets from the upcoming 2015 Holiday Catalog with a bit of an odd name…Acorny Thank You, to create my card to share today.

My card layout was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #198.

The colors for my card were inspired by Pals Paper Arts 262.

I started by stamping the acorn images from the Acorny Thank You photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 1) in Mint Macaron ink on a panel of Mint Macaron card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Tip Top Taupe card stock with SNAIL, then to a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a strip of 1-1/4″ Burlap Ribbon to the card front with Fast Fuse Adhesive, then I adhered a panel from the Into the Woods DSP pack (available Sept 1) to a panel of Tip Top Taupe card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Acorny Thank You stamp set in Tip Top Taupe ink on a panel of Mint Macaron card stock, then I stamped the acorn images in Tip Top Taupe ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I inked the lower part and stamped it on scrap paper once before stamping it on the Whisper White panel to give it a slightly different shade.  I punched the acorn pieces out with the matching Acorn Builder Punch and adhered them together with SNAIL.  I adhered the top two acorns to the card front with SNAIL and the one closest to the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the card front by tying bows with Linen Thread through three Pool Party Buttons from the Subtles Designer Buttons pack.  I adhered the buttons to the card front with Glue Dots.

I stamped the acorn images from the Acorny Thank You stamp set in Tip Top Taupe ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
