Stampin’ Up! Happy Scenes with Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies

I used one of the Happy Scenes bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2015 Holiday Catalog to create my card for Stamping & Blogging’s Sketch & Stamp SB117 sketch this week.

Happy Scenes - Stamp With Amy K

Here is Stamping & Blogging’s Sketch & Stamp SB117 sketch for the week.  Be sure to stop by the Sketch & Stamp Blog to play along!

Screen Shot 2015-08-11 at 4.26.56 PM

My card was also inspired by CAS-ual Fridays CFC142.

Screen Shot 2015-08-11 at 5.48.25 PMI started by adhering strip of Happy Haunting Designer Washi Tape (available Sept 1) to a panel from the Happy Haunting DSP (available Sept 1) pack.  Then I adhered the DSP panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL and to a Blackberry Bliss card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Happy Scenes 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the image from the Happy Scenes photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 1) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I colored the pumpkins and leaves with my Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey Stampin’ Write Markers.

Happy Scenes 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut the window frame with the Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies (available Sept 1) from Basic Black card stock, then used a little of the adhesive from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (available Sept 1) to adhere the frame over the stamped image.  I adhered the window frame to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Happy Scenes 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I colored the sentiment from the For All Things stamp set with my Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo Twist Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, punched it out with the Washi Label Punch and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  I cut three little leaves with one of the dies from the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies (available Sept 1) from Tangelo Twist card stock and I adhered them with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to the card front.

Happy Haunting Washi Tape - Stamp With Amy K

I ran strips from the Happy Haunting Designer Washi Tape pack across a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.

  1. What a clever way to use these colors. They go beautifully together and I like the way the Washi tape has a “grain” to it that works perfectly with the dsp design. Another wonderful card, Amy!

  2. Lovely card Amy 🙂 I will def be ordering that bundle soon, I kicked myself for accidently leaving it off my preorder list lol.
