I had some fun making my card to share today with the new Stampin’ Up! stamp set called If the Broom Fits.  This stamp set makes me giggle a little, I do have a few friends that I know who’d get a chuckle out of it too and I can’t wait to mail it out.  🙂

My card design was inspired by Fab Friday 70.

I started by adhering one of the Spider Web Doilies (available Sept 1) to a panel from the Happy Haunting DSP (available Sept 1) pack with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I trimmed the excess doily off with my Paper Snips, then adhered the DSP panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.

I adhered the layered panels to a Tangelo Twist card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then stamped the image from the If the Broom Fits stamp (available Sept 1) in Basic Black Archival Ink (available Sept 1) on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.

I colored the broom images with my So Saffron, Tangelo Twist and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the If the Broom Fits stamp on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock, then punched the end of the sentiment strip with the Banner Punch.  I adhered the sentiment strip with SNAIL to a strip of Basic Black card stock that I’d also punch with the Banner Punch, then adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with SNAIL.  I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Basic Black button from the Neutrals Designer Buttons pack, tied a bow and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.

I colored one of the broom images from the If the Broom Fits stamp with my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and I stamped it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the card.
