I love the new Festive Fireplace stamp set and Festive Fireside Framelits Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This set has so many great images and I love all of the Framelits that go with it!
The design for my card is very loosely based on the Pals Paper Arts #264 Sketch. I definitely took a few “artistic liberties” with this one. 🙂
And the colors for my card were inspired by Merry Monday #169.
I started by stamping the fireplace images from the Festive Fireplace photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 1) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I sprinkled the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them, then snipped out the lower part of the fireplace with my Paper Snips and I cut the mantle with the corresponding Hearth & Home Thinlits Die (available Sept 1).
I sponged the edges of the fire place images with Crumb Cake ink, then adhered them to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL. I stamped the sentiment from the To You & Yours photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 1) in VersaMark ink on the Real Red card stock panel, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.
I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL, then to a Pear Pizzazz card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the fire and stocking images in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, heat embossed them and then cut them out with the corresponding Festive Fireside Framelits Dies (available Sept 1).
I colored the images with my Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow, Real Red, So Saffron and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Markers. I adhered the logs and fire image with SNAIL and the stocking with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and greenery images from the Festive Fireplace stamp set in Real Red and Mossy Meadow inks on a Whisper White panel. I colored the pine cones in with the fine tip of my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker, then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock on the inside of the card.
