I used the Stampin’ Up! Joyful Season and Endless Thanks stamp sets to create a thank you card to share today.
My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #178.
I started by adhering strips of the Season of Cheer Designer Washi Tape (available Sept 1) around the top and the bottom of a panel of Whisper White card stock. Then I wrapped a strand of Early Espresso 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon around the panel, adhering it with SNAIL, and I tied a knot. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a panel from the Into the Woods DSP (available Sept 1), then to an Early Espresso card base with SNAIL.
I stamped the tree branch image from the Joyful Season photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 1) in Early Espresso ink three times on a panel of Soft Sky card stock. I stamped the outline of the bird in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then the bird in Cherry Cobbler ink and the beak in Pumpkin Pie ink. I cut the bottom of the panel with the scallop die from the Cutie Pie Thinlits die set and adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the banner image from the Endless Thanks photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso Ink and the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I cut the banner out, sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink, curled the ends up just a bit with my bone folder, then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.
I pulled strands of Linen Thread through to Silver Basic Metal Buttons and tied small knots on the back. I tucked the two buttons under the focal panel and adhered them with Glue Dots.
I stamped the bird images from the Joyful Seasons stamp set in Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Tuxedo Black Memento Inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card, then adhered a strip of the Into the Woods DSP.

Beautiful! Love the colors!
Thanks so much Lana! 🙂
Your card is beautiful! Made me take a walk down Memory Lane… before I moved to the Arizona desert I lived in Kansas City. Our shrubs were full of cardinal nests and they would come to the feeders often throughout the day. I saw them year ’round, even on the coldest days. Thank you for sharing your pretty cards.
I’m so glad that you liked it Melanie! We get lots of cardinals here year round too, they’re beautiful birds. 🙂
Beautiful, Amy! Love how you stamped multiple branches around your bird! I love this stamp – very realistic, indeed. 🙂
Thank Mary, it is a really pretty stamp set!! 🙂
TRES JOLIE
Merci! 🙂
