Stampin’ Up! Winter Wishes Three Panel Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Winter Wishes to create my card to share today.

Winter Wishes - Stamp With Amy K

The layout for my card was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 283.

I started by stamping the pine tree branch from the Winter Wishes stamp set in Crumb Cake ink across the front of a Crumb Cake card base.

Winter Wishes 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the images of the ski, sled and snowshoe (using a mask made from a Post It Note for the second image) from the Winter Wishes stamp set in Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Gray Archival inks on three Crumb Cake card stock panels.  I sponged the edges of the panels with Early Espresso ink and adhered them to panels of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL.

Winter Wishes 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the image of the skies and snowshoes to the card front with SNAIL and the sled with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I wrapped strand of Cherry Cobbler Thick Baker’s Twine around the card front and tied a little bow.

Winter Wishes 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Wishes stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a small strip of Crumb Cake card stock, sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink, then adhered it to a small strip of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL.  I finished the card front by adhering the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals that I’d cut in half and placed around the Baker’s Twine.

Winter Wishes 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sled image from the Winter Wishes stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Crumb Cake card stock panel inside the card.

  1. I love your interpretation of the sketch! that’s the first use of that stamp set I’ve seen–you’ve set the bar very high for any others too! Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us! You are so creative!

  2. Your card is great – you never disappoint! I think this could be a masculine or feminine card and Crumb Cake is such a versatile color. Your sketch interpretation is right on target. Oh, and I love the vintage look!

  3. Another stunning card! I look at those stamp sets and think what could you possibly do with that. Thanks for the inspiration.
