Stampin’ Up! Barnyard Babies for The Paper Players

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set call Barnyard Babies to create my card for The Paper Players theme challenge this week.

Barnyard Babies - Stamp With Amy K

Be sure to stop by The Paper Players blog to check out the awesome projects created by the other Design Team Members.  And be sure to play along too!  🙂  Here is the theme for PP261:

The layout for my card was inspired by Mojo Monday #413. No tall & skinny for me…just a standard size card. 🙂

I started by stamping the image from the Writing Notes stamp in Pool Party ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Barnyard Babies stamp set in Basic Gray Archival Ink in the lower right corner, then adhered the panel to a panel of Pool Party card stock with SNAIL.

Barnyard Babies 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a panel from the Schoolhouse DSP pack to the stamped panel, then wrapped a strand of Marina Mist 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon around the panel.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Barnyard Babies 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the images from the Barnyard Babies stamp set in Basic Gray Archival Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I colored them with my Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand Stampin’ Write Markers.  I punched the images out with the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch, adhered them to 1-3/8″ Circles Punches from Marina Mist card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the little blue ribbon images from the Barnyard Babies stamp set in Basic Black Archival Ink on a panel of Marina Mist card stock.  I snipped the ribbons out with my Paper Snips and adhered them with a dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Writing Notes - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the image from the Writing Notes stamp in Pool Party ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

  1. So cute! Love those little barnyard babies, and I totally missed that BG stamp, too. Love it, even more so on the inside from a person who can’t write straight, lol!
