I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp Sheltering Tree stamp set to create my card to share today. I posted another card using this same sketch on Saturday and you can see that card here.
The design for my card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #202.
And the colors for my card were inspired by Pals Paper Arts 266.
I started by stamping the leaf images from the Among the Branches photopolymer stamp set in Old Olive, Delightful Dijon and Cajun Craze inks randomly on the front of a Thick Whisper White card base.
I stamped the tree and grass images from the Sheltering Tree photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon and Old Olive inks. I inked the rake image with Soft Suede and Cajun Craze inks and stamped it next to the tree image, then added a little pile of leaves with Cajun Craze an Delightful Dijon inks next to the rake.
I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Cajun Craze card stock with SNAIL, then to a Delightful Dijon card stock panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the layered panels to the card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the Sheltering Tree stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a strip of White Vellum. I sprinkled the sentiment with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I punched the ends of the vellum strip with the Banner Punch and adhered it to the card front with a single Glue Dot (hidden under the button). I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Gold Basic Metallic Button, tied a bow and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.
I stamped the tree image from the Sheltering Tree stamp set again on the inside of the card.

I love fall for so many reasons…..like this beautiful fall themed card!
Thanks so much Linda! 🙂
Ah, Fall! I feel it from this card. How did you put two colors on the rake stamp? (sponged the second one on?) creative touch!
I am hoping for some fall weather soon…we’re still pretty hot here in Atlanta! 🙂 As far as the rake, since this is a photopolymer set, you can see through the stamp to ink up part in one color and part in another. I inked the Cajun Craze on the bottom part first (since it’s a little lighter color), then inked the handle in Soft Suede. Hope that helps! 🙂
Beautiful Fall card, Amy! Love it love it love it! 🙂
Thanks so much Mary! 🙂
