Stampin’ Up! Wonderland All is Calm

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set Wonderland to create my card to share today.  I love the tree image in this stamp set!

Wonderland - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #204.Screen Shot 2015-09-20 at 2.43.42 PMI started by stamping the tree image from the Wonderland stamp set in Garden Green ink across a Whisper White panel.  I stamped some of the images without reinking to give the image a little more depth.

Wonderland 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL, then to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a wide panel from the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP pack to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets, then to the card front with SNAIL.

Wonderland 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Wonderland stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, then I stamped the snowflake images from the Wonderland stamp set in Soft Sky ink across the panel.  I wrapped a strand of Winter Wonderland Designer Washi Tape around the panel, then adhered it to a panel from Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL and the the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wonderland 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I tied a knot in the center of a strand of Gold Cording Trim and pulled the ends through the hole in the center of one of the Snowflake Elements.  I tied a bow with the Gold Cording Trim and adhered the snowflake to the card front with a small piece of a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Wonderland 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the snowflakes from the Wonderland stamp set in Soft Sky ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card, then added the sentiment from the Peaceful Pines photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

  1. Such an elegant card Amy! So glad that you used Washi tape. I always seem stumped to use it, but love it when I do. I’ll have to remember how you used it here 🙂

  2. This is so pretty and a great version of the sketch! I really need to buy that Wonderland set as I have liked all that you have done with it.

  3. I finally bought some Washi tape and have not used it yet. I did not realize it was somewhat transparent until I saw it so need to remember to use it when its transparency works. Your card is lovely… may have to case this for my Christmas cards this year!

    • Thanks Melanie, feel free to CASE away. 🙂 The Washi Tape is definitely a bit transparent…some designs more than others. The lighter colors are quite transparent, some of the darker ones aren’t.

  4. Another WOW card Amy! I LOVE the way you chose to use the trees as the split for this card sketch. Your gold foil layers are so beautiful and elevate your card to “Super WOW”! 🙂 Elegant and oh so beautiful!!

  5. Wow! This is so gorgeous. Beautiful design; I love how you used the trees. Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
