I used the Stampin Up! Among the Branches stamp set to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week
Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC111…isn’t that bunny too cute? 🙂 Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to check out what the other Design Team Members have created with these colors and be sure to play along too!
The layout for my card was inspired by Mojo Monday 417.
I started by inking up my Brayer with Soft Suede ink, rolling it across a piece of scrap paper to remove some of the ink, then rolling it across the top of the Woodland Embossing Folder. I cleaned my Brayer, then repeated the process with Sahara Sand ink across the bottom of the folder. I placed a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the inked embossing folder, then rolled it through my Big Shot.
I stamped the leaf images from the Among the Branches photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on the embossed panel, sprinkled them with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them. I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Sahara Sand card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL. I wrapped a strand of Gold 1/8″ Ribbon around the front of the card and adhered it with tape in the area under the sentiment circle.
I stamped the sentiment from the Among the Branches stamp set in Basic Gray Archival ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, then colored the leaf images with my Sahara Sand Stampin’ Write Marker. I cut the image out with one of the Circles Collection Framelits dies, then adhered it to a 2″ Circle Punch from Sahara Sand card stock with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the And Many More stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a strip of Sahara Sand card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I punched the ends with the Banner Punch, adhered it to the circle sentiment with the SNAIL, then adhered the layered circle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I pulled strands of Linen Thread through three Gold Basic Metal Buttons, tied small knots on the back and adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the leaf images from the Among the Branches stamp set in Soft Suede and Sahara Sand inks down a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the card.

Oh my gosh, where do I start! I LOVE the way the gold embossing really pops your card – elegant! How ingenious of you to cover the “tasty dishes” with the “to you from me” in gold with the banner. This has been the most awesome way I’ve seen that done 🙂 Hmmm, I might actually get that set now! Wow Amy, brilliant card!
