Stampin’ Up! Winter Wishes for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Winter Wishes stamp set to create my card for the Sunday Stamps SSC113 color challenge.  I borrowed a little inspiration from a similar card that I saw in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.

Winter Wishes - Stamp With Amy K

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC113.  I  love this color combination, perfect for fall and winter!  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to check out what the other Design Team Members have created and be sure to play along too!

I started by stamping the images from the Winter Wishes stamp set in Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Island Indigo and Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Inks on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.  I used my Heat Tool to quickly dry the Whisper White ink.

Winter Wishes 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I used my White Stampin’ Chalk Marker to add a few white highlights to the sled, snowshoe and ice skate images and my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker to add a few shaded areas to the skis.  Then I tore the top section of the stamped panel off.

Winter Wishes 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the pine branch image from the Winter Wishes stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the top of an Early Espresso Card base.  Then I wrapped a stand of Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the stamped Crumb Cake panel, tied a small bow and adhered the stamped panel to the Early Espresso card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Winter Wishes 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Wishes stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a small strip of Crumb Cake card stock and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered one of the Snowflake Elements with a small piece of a Stampin’ Dimensional next to the sentiment and topped it with an Island Indigo Candy Dot from the Regals Candy Dots pack.

Winter Wishes 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Pines photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock inside the card.  I stamped the pine branch image from the Winter Wishes stamp set in Crumb Cake ink over the sentiment to finish the inside of the card.

  1. This has to be the most marvelous, exciting card I’ve seen!!! I have this set and I am toying with it for my Christmas card. I will be using a couple of your ideas. Especially colours. I am going for the kraft with white, but you have added a punch of pizzazz.
