I used the Stampin’ Up! Winter Wishes stamp set and a little of the Home for Christmas DSP to create my card for The Paper Players sketch challenge this week.
Be sure to stop by The Paper Players blog to check out the awesome projects created by the other Design Team Members. And be sure to play along too! 🙂 Here is the sketch this week for PP272:
The reindeer theme for my card was inspired by Merry Monday #180.
I started by adhering a panel from the Home for Christmas DSP pack to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL, then to an Early Espresso card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I punched the end of a strip of Home for Christmas DSP with the Banner Triple Punch, then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL. I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Wishes stamp set in Real ink on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock, punched the end with the Banner Triple Punch, then adhered it over the DSP banner with SNAIL.
I punched the top of a panel of Home for Christmas DSP with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch and the bottom with the Project Life Corner Punch, then adhered a little reindeer that I’d snipped from the panel of the Home for Christmas DSP with SNAIL to the tag. I adhered the tag to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a bow from Real Red 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon and adhered it to the tag with a Glue Dot. I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through an Early Espresso button from the Neutrals Designer Buttons pack, tied a bow, then adhered the button to the bow with a Glue Dot.
I adhered a strip of the Home for Christmas DSP to a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.

What a super fantastic card that nailed both of the challenges! I love your fussy cut Rudolph 🙂 The extra banner was the perfect addition. Awesome details Amy 😉
Thanks Jill! The Rudolph was pretty easy to snip out…I tried to give it a little extra room so that I didn’t cut an ear or a hoof off! 😉
