I used the Party Wishes stamp set from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2016 Occasions Catalog to create my card to share today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Make Sketches #215.

I started by adhering a panel from the It’s My Party DSP Stack (available Jan 5) to a panel of Melon Mambo card stock with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Party Wishes stamp set (available Jan 5) in Melon Mambo ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to the Melon Mambo panel with SNAIL.

I stamped the balloon images in Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron and Crushed Curry inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I punched them out with the Party Punch Pack (available Jan 5) balloon punch.  I drew little lines for the balloon strings with my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker  (realized too late that I wanted to and them and couldn’t stamp them with the balloons string in the stamp set!), then adhered the punched balloons to the panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I punched the end of a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Banner Triple Punch, then stamped the cake image from the Party Wishes stamp set in Mint Macaron on it.  I colored the sentiment with my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and stamped it on the cake, then colored the birthday candle images with my Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped them on the panel as well.

I adhered the stamped banner to a banner cut from Melon Mambo card stock (also punched with the Banner Triple Punch) and to the panel with SNAIL.  I wrapped strands of twine from the Baker’s Twine Combo Pack around the panel, taped them to the back, then adhered the panel to a Mint Macaron card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment on the banner to finish the card front.

I inked the cake image from the Party Wishes stamp set in Mint Macaron ink, stamped it off once, then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black Archival ink over the cake image on the inside of the card.
